Rock and Roll challenge

Rock and Roll challenge, 80's style.

Urban Decay Naked2 Palette

Last weekend I purchased UD's Naked2 eyeshadow palette and also their newest eyeliner "Perversion", which they dub as their blackest black liner. I've used both products almost everyday so far and I love them! It's fun to experiment with the colors and to add hints of brights here and there. The shadows are silky smooth and they stay on all day with some lid primer.

The liner is great as well but I use it mainly on the waterline. I find it easier to use a gel or liquid liner for definition but unfortunately I forgot my MAC fluidline at home.

Flower Inspired Challenge

Sorry for the white background, I won't have access to my computer until late next week...will change it then. This challenge was for a flower-inspired look. I found a pretty pink flower and used mufe flash colors in pink, white and purple to create the look. I used Buxom mascara.

LOTD Coastal Scents first

I used CS 88 for the first time today. I used a light yellow for base and inner eye, grey for lid, light blue for lash base and a gold flash color (mufe) inner eye. Physicians formula in purple, VS black for waterline, and Buxom mascara. Sorry for the cell phone pic.

Neutral Look

For this look I used theBalm Shady Lady palette.  I brushed Luscious Lani from the top lashline to eyebrow. I then used Shameless Shana on the lid so that it was just past the crease, then added a little to the bottom lashline. Next I used Caught in the Act Courtney for the outer V then put a little Jet Setting Jennifer near the inner corner of my eyes.

Rohto Arctic Eye Drops

For work I have to sit in front of a computer most of the day.  This leads to eyestrain and my eyes looking very bloodshot.  I've always had issues with this so I'm constantly on the lookout for something that will help.  I read up some reviews (mostly positive) on Amazon and bought a bottle of this at CVS for around $8.00.  I have to mention that I tried Visine Maximum strength a few days ago and that didn't really help much.

Coastal Scents 88 Palette

After hearing good reviews on CS 88 palette, I decided to purchase it from the Coastal Scents website.  I also got 3 brushes - Destiny Precision Angled Liner(242), Chisel Shader (253) and a Pro Blending Fluff (250).  The package came cushioned in bubble wrap and paper wrap.  Everything was packaged nicely and there was no breakage/crumbling in the colors whatsoever.  Each pan is about dime-sized and the colors look pretty vibrant.  I also got a free sample of a mineral eye shadow called Hi Light Violet.  I can't wait to use the colors!

CVS brand Detangler

I have long hair...and lots of it. That being said, I carelessly let my hair down and let it bundle up in the collar of my jacket and whatnot. I basically didn't give a rats ass about my hair for a day and a half. In the morning I realized that my slacking had lead my to my hair resembling a rats nest. I grabbed a bottle of CVS Detangler (gentle formula) from the store and sprayed it on liberally.

I used my fingers to comb out my hair once it was damp, using a wet comb here and there. I have to say, it was much easier combing it out. I lost some strands as expected but much less than I would have without the Detangler. I also would have wasted a large amount of conditioner otherwise.

After I brushed my hair out, I hopped in the shower and did my normal shampoo and conditioner routine with the Coconut Milk brand. A few hours later, my hair is extremely soft and free of tangles :)

Verdict: I like it a lot!
Price: $3.29

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay

About a year ago, I had a troublesome blemish that I was trying to get rid of ASAP.  I stumbled across this product while walking through Whole Foods and didn't initially buy it.  It piqued my curiosity however, so I went home and looked up reviews on it.  It had a pretty good buzz and some had even listed it as their HG.  The pulsating sensation people described sounded interesting but there were also concerns about it clogging up the drain when washing it off.  I decided to buy it along with a bottle of Bragg apple cider vinegar.  The jar recommends mixing it with apple cider vinegar or water but most said they had better results with the ACV.
