"Up" lashes

Up is one of my favorite movies and so I decided to create a fun look with a colorful theme.  The paper house took a bit of time to cut out and I messed up a couple of times, but I finally got it to an acceptable shape.  After cutting out the shape and painting it with some black acrylic paint, I glued them onto my upper lashline.

The colors I used on my top lid were created from TKB trading pigments.  These were the first set of pressed pigments I've made and I really wanted to try them.  The tear duct area is colored with Motives cream shadow in Sour Apple and also theBalm Curvy Cami shadow (a shimmery purple). I used MAC fludline in black for the liner and used Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash mascara.  I used Duo lash glue to paste the houses on but I couldn't get them even (as you can see from the pictures).

The jewels are from Micheal's craft store - I found them in the bead section.  They are called Jolee's Jewels Swarovski Elements and there were a bunch of different colors on sale (they are normally $4.99 USD but were on sale for 40% off).  These were flat on the back and I just used a glitter glue from Motives to stick them on. I tried to make them look like the balloons from the movie :)
