Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay

About a year ago, I had a troublesome blemish that I was trying to get rid of ASAP.  I stumbled across this product while walking through Whole Foods and didn't initially buy it.  It piqued my curiosity however, so I went home and looked up reviews on it.  It had a pretty good buzz and some had even listed it as their HG.  The pulsating sensation people described sounded interesting but there were also concerns about it clogging up the drain when washing it off.  I decided to buy it along with a bottle of Bragg apple cider vinegar.  The jar recommends mixing it with apple cider vinegar or water but most said they had better results with the ACV.

It comes in a large 1lb jar and when I opened it, a little puff of powder smoke came out because the clay is crushed so fine.  I put about a tablespoon of clay in a plastic container and poured the same amount of ACV in.  It fizzed a little at first but as I kept mixing it (with a plastic spoon), it became a creamy texture.  I decided to put it all over my face and extra on the blemish.  After a few minutes I started to feel the pulsating sensation and after about 10 minutes I thought it was going to suck my face off.  I let it dry all the way and then washed it off in the shower, thankfully I didn't experience any drain clogging.

My face was fairly red after taking it off but after about 30 minutes the redness went away.  After looking in the mirror, my pores were definitely shrunk and my complexion seemed brighter.  As for the blemish, I didn't see an instant result but the next day it was definitely smaller and less noticeable.  I'm convinced that it sped up the whole healing process.  I love the way it makes my skin look (after the initial redness) and use it when I feel my skin needs a pick-me-up.  It has become one of my HGs and would definitely recommend it.  Nowadays I don't even measure.  I just tap the clay onto a bowl, pour in the ACV and mix it with my index finger until I feel that I have the right consistency.

Verdict: Love it!
Price: $8-$10
