Rohto Arctic Eye Drops

For work I have to sit in front of a computer most of the day.  This leads to eyestrain and my eyes looking very bloodshot.  I've always had issues with this so I'm constantly on the lookout for something that will help.  I read up some reviews (mostly positive) on Amazon and bought a bottle of this at CVS for around $8.00.  I have to mention that I tried Visine Maximum strength a few days ago and that didn't really help much.

After taking out my contacts, I added a couple of drops in each eye - the sensation was like my eyeballs had swallowed a menthol Halls cough drop.  It didn't burn but felt quite exhilarating.  I closed my eyes and rolled them around a bit , waited a few minutes - nothing.  I waited about 15 more minutes...and it looked like my eyes had actually gotten worse.  It went from bloodshot to a light pinkish sheen...gross.  I didn't see much of a difference after that.  I was hoping after a bit it would clear up...but that didn't happen.  I'm willing to give it another shot but for right now, I don't think this product is for me.  I think my solution is to just wear my glasses more  (right now I have Accuvue Dailies Moist).

  1. If you're looking for a Rohto eyedrop to remove redness, you really need to use Rohto Cool. Of all the Rohto eyedrops, it's the one that is best for redness relief. Love my rohto eyedrops! If you got it from CVS, you can actually go exchange it.
